What is Vapor Barrier
Vapor barrier film is mainly used to block indoor moisture from entering the insulation layer, prevent condensation and mold, and protect the building structure and insulation effect. It’s like putting a layer of “moisture-proof underwear” on the building to ensure that the roof system is dry and durable. According to product composition, it can be divided into PE vapor barrier film and PP vapor barrier film.

Why You Need Vapor Barrier

Although a waterproofing membrane atop the insulation blocks external moisture, the insulation remains vulnerable to moisture infiltration from the interior.
